Who We Are

Spec-con Engineering (Pty) Ltd was formed in 1994 to cater for the growing need for a specialist in the field of concrete repair and rehabilitation of industrial structures. The company is manned by experienced construction professionals who specialize in extending the life of civil infrastructure, industrial and commercia buildings using the latest technologies available. Our client base comprises mainly of commodity based industrial corporations’ such as Sasol, ArcelorMittal, De Beers Group, Anglo American, Columbus Stainless, Exxaro, Mpact, Impala Platinum and AngloGold Ashanti.

As well as large projects we also take pleasure in undertaking a diverse range of repair and rehabilitation projects of a small and medium scale, utilizing various technologies. These projects span across reservoirs, shopping centers, schools, and office blocks. During our 30 years of operations, we have undertaken works in association with many respected Consulting Engineers such as Jones & Wagener, W.Louw & Associates, WSP, Arup, TvNA, SNC Lavalin, Aurecon, Semane, Endecon, Aecom, Stewart Scott, Jeffares & Green, ARQ, SRK and Knights Piesold. The company has branches in Botswana and Namibia and has been active in mining related and infrastructure projects in most African countries.
